Following the Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art screening of “Come Hell or High Water: The Battle for Turkey Creek” on August 19, 2021, Beth Collier (Wild in the City) led a discussion with Derrick Evans (Come Hell or High Water, Turkey Creek activist) and Frederick Tutman (Patuxant Riverkeeper) about remediation, both in the context of environmentalism and Black connections to nature, as well as the impact of environmental racism and how to work together in the fight toward futurity and possible healing.
